Release time:2022-12-19

Water pressure sensor is a kind of pressure sensor often used in industrial practice. Widely used in industrial automation, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, transportation and construction equipment, production of automatic control systems, aerospace technology and other fields. It is an advanced testing equipment. It can perceive the information of other objects, and can convert the perceived information into electrical signals or other forms of information output according to certain rules. Today, I will lead you to understand the working principle of the water pressure sensor, let's take a look!

The core of the water pressure sensor is generally made of diffused silicon. Its working principle is that the pressure of the measured water pressure directly acts on the diaphragm of the sensor, so that the diaphragm forms a small displacement proportional to the water pressure, and the resistance of the sensor changes, and this change is converted by the electronic circuit. The standard measurement signal corresponding to the output pressure. The static characteristics of the water pressure sensor means that the static input signal and the output of the sensor have a correlation with the input quantity. Since the input and output are independent of time at this time, the relationship between them, I .e. the static characteristics of the sensor, can be represented as an algebraic equation without a time variable, or a characteristic curve drawn with the input as the horizontal coordinate and the corresponding output as the vertical coordinate. The main parameters that characterize the static characteristics of the sensor are: linearity, sensitivity, hysteresis, repeatability, drift, etc.

1, linearity: refers to the sensor output and input of the specific relationship curve deviation from the degree of fitting straight line. Defined as the ratio of the maximum deviation of a specific characteristic curve from the fitted straight line over the full-scale range to the full-scale output value.

Sensitivity: Sensitivity is an important indicator of the static characteristics of the sensor. It is defined as the ratio of the increase in output to the corresponding increase in inputs that led to it. Use S to denote sensitivity.

3. Hysteresis: During the change of input from small to large (forward stroke) and input from large to small (reverse stroke), the phenomenon that the input and output characteristic curves of the sensor do not coincide becomes a hysteresis phenomenon. For the same size of the input signal, the sensor's positive and negative stroke output signal size is not equal, this difference is called hysteresis difference.

Repeatability: refers to the degree of inconsistency of the characteristic curve obtained when the input of the sensor changes continuously in the same direction for many times in the whole range.

5. Drift: Water pressure sensor drift refers to the change of sensor output over time under the condition of constant input. This phenomenon is called drift. There are two reasons for the formation of drift: one is the structural parameters of the sensor itself; the other is the surrounding environment (such as temperature, humidity, etc.).

With the development of modern science, the technology and performance of water pressure sensors are becoming more and more mature and stable. In the future, water pressure sensors will also have a broader application prospect!
