Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) is the pressure inside the engine's intake manifold (intake manifold). When the engine is turned off, the normal manifold absolute pressure is the same as the atmospheric pressure (atmospheric pressure) outside the car.
What is the working mode of the intake manifold absolute pressure sensor?
The manifold pressure sensor is used in the electronic control system of the engine. Engines that use pressure sensors are usually fuel-injected. The sensor provides instantaneous manifold pressure information to the engine's electronic control unit.
